This book will take you on a crazy ride that you won't want to get off of to eat, sleep or anything else! ~Cathy Jeppson
Hogan cleverly created characters with detail, who are both relatable and grounded. ~ the bookstalker
It’s a thriller that reminded me of a mix between Gone in 60 Seconds and the Gallagher Girls books ~Canda Mortensen

MY REVIEW:
I'm continued to be pleasantly surprised by Cindy Hogan's books. I've read Gravediggers, Adrenaline Rush, and now Hotwire and I found myself to be speeding through Hotwire once I got through the first 80 pages or so! The story is about Christy going undercover to take down some car thieves but WOW there was so much more going on then I ever saw coming! The twists and turns reminded me of Escape From Eden by Elisa Nader and just really brought the story to a whole new level. My favorite moments besides all of the crazy, scary events were between Christy and Ace and Christy and Carson. Mikado also ended up being one of my favorites even though he wasn't in the story too much. Hotwire is actually book 2 in the Christy books which I didn't know so I haven't read it yet. But Hotwire reads very well as a standalone and I had no trouble following along at all! If you haven't checked out Hogan's books, I would definitely start with either Hotwire or Adrenaline Rush!
Rating: 3.5/5
