Wondrous Words Wednesday

This is a feature that I discovered awhile ago but never stumbled across anything to use...until now! Wondrous Words Wednesday (hosted by Bermuda Onion) gives us a chance to spotlight some words that encountered and/or love!

Last week I finished The Moon and More by Sarah Dessen (check out my review HERE) and the main character Emaline and her summer fling Theo are really good with words! Here are some of the words they tossed around that I had no idea what they mean!

1. proletariat: the laboring class; especially :  the class of industrial workers who lack their own means of production and hence sell their labor to live
2. purveyor: a person or business that sells or provides something
3. largesse: the act of giving away money or the quality of a person who gives away money; also : money that is given away

4. demarcation: the determining and marking off of the boundaries of something

  1. I'd heard purveyor before but thought it had something to do with real estate. I guess I had it mixed up with surveyor. Thanks for playing along today. Oh, your link did work!
