GONE GIRL IS A MASTERPIECE. FOR REAL.
I swore I was not going to watch this movie until I read the book but my friend leant me the movie and I completely forgot it was a book so I watched the movie. Now of course, I don't want to read the book (oops...) I thought I was going to have a really hard time watching the movie because I was dreading the fact that it's like a THREE hour movie...but I was hooked from the moment it started.
The movie flowed so perfectly from scene to scene. Ben Affleck, who I am not normally a fan of, was actually pretty cool. His character really confused me though when he posed for pictures smiling and things like that but my sister said that's how he is in the book. Rosamund Pike did good but I really don't get why she was nominated for awards...The twist was AWESOME. AND THEN THAT SCENE WITH NEIL PATRICK HARRIS. OMG I JUST CAN'T. I am obviously not going to share anything in case there's other people out there who have not seen Gone Girl yet or have been waiting like I did. But I really hope everyone sees this movie! I'm recommending to everyone I talk to!
Okay... so I wasn't a huge fan of this book when I read it, but I'm curious to see the movie. I'll have to check it out when it gets on Netflix.
